Christmas In July
Yup, I said the “C” word in July!!!
As a knitter it is never to early to start thinking about gift knitting for the holiday’s. I often try to get most of my knitting done by Thanksgiving so I have a stress free Holiday season. Of course I seem to always find that one more knit I want to do for someone in the last few weeks. Maybe that is just because it feels like christmas to be knitting something for someone.
As a knitting teacher i have had a group of students that I want to knit something for. One year I did mug cozies. I think I did those all of the month of November and had them done in plenty of time. Baa-ble Mug Cozy by Donna Smith
Another year I did the Pencil Gnomes. These where so much fun that MarvelMan and I did a little movie about their experience in Las Vegas!
Another year I did a Lace Cozies for a mason jar candle holder.
